Club Re-Opening Information
Save the date – 11:30am Wednesday 8th July, 2020!
The Club & Bistro will be open for business.
We have had to make some changes at the club and also to include compliance with the Public Health Regulations, so that we can provide a COVID-19 safe Club for all of our members and guests.
Some of these include a different seating layout, using the side door (bowling green side) as our entrance, a change in trading hours, all patrons to practice good hygiene and the requirement that ALL members and guests register at the Bar for each visit.
We ask for your patience while we navigate the ever-changing situation we are all in.
The changes from the 1st July will allow the club to have approximately 200 patrons at a time. This number does not include the bowlers out on the greens.
The initial Club trading hours will be Wednesdays 11:30am to close, Fridays 11:30am-2pm & 4pm to close and Saturdays 11:30am to close.
The Bistro will be open for lunch and dinner during these hours and booking will be essential for dinner on all nights. Please ring Tracey on 0434 511 015.
These trading hours will vary depending upon patronage.
Social bowls and club championships will be able to resume, with the relevant guidelines and regulations in place.
The Club will once again be available for wakes and other functions. If we can help you out, please ring the Club on 64521229 during trading hours or Evelyn Hamilton on 0488 009 737 anytime.
Once again, thank you for you patience and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Roll Up Guidelines – see the “Bowls” page for the current guidelines for having a roll up.
We are a small friendly club where families and visitors are always welcome
The Club is taking very seriously its responsibilities with regard to the current health emergency, which is impacting all of us in some way. In line with all of the current guidelines announced by the Government, Department of Health and other controlling bodies, the Club has implemented several strategies in response to these unprecedented times for the health and safety of everyone.
The social distancing guidelines of having 4 metre square available indoors per person is achievable at the Club as it has a large floor area. Everyone is encouraged to follow the guidelines for reducing the spread of the virus which include good hygiene, using hand washing protocols, maintaining the 1.5 metre distance, etc as per the signs displayed in the Club. The Club has boosted our cleaning practices.
Please Stay Safe & Healthy
If you want a meal in our Bowlo Bistro, maybe a free game of snooker or pool, perhaps try your luck, enjoy some regular entertainment or simply have a refreshing drink why not come and visit our Club.
